Propane vs LED Lanterns

Will be heading out for a few tent camping trips while my best bud is visiting from overseas. Need to get a new lantern, but it's been a while since I've been tent camping. I've always used a gas lantern back in the day. Now, I see that there are now propane and LED lanterns. I'm torn. Which would you recommend? Looking of course for something that I can use while RVing, too.

I have both. We use the propane lanterns outside and use the LED lantern inside.

We use a double fuel type of lantern outside. It runs on both propane and gas. Inside, we use an LED lantern. It's a lot safer, not that noisy, and no fumes.

If you're planning to get something for both tent and RVing, I'd go with just the LED lanterns.

LED lanterns. No need to worry about fuel, and they are much safer to use throughout the night. Just make sure to bring a lot of batteries.
