Thankfully we decided to head over here to California before the hurricane hit. North Carolina has been hit rather bad. Think we'll be staying here a wee bit longer until things have stabilized.

We're fine here. My in-laws lived in NJ. Thankfully, they are safe.

Sharing your sympathies to those that got affected. Really lucky that we don't live in that area. Shame though, 'coz we were planning to head up there for Christmas.

Speaking of Sandy, I was wondering if anyone knows the situation in the Outer Banks, NC if it was damaged by Sandy. We were planning to head over there later this month. But after Sandy, we're now trying to find out if we should push through or make other plans.
