opossum encounter
This weekend I went RVing in North Carolina near WIlmington, when I got out of my RV in the morning I faced an opossum looking for food probably!!
It was the first time I saw this animal, pretty scary at first.. have you ever met any strange animals too?

WOW, I would not like to see this kind of animal, I just met alligators in the everglades but pretty far from the campgrounds

Snakes are frequent here in the southwest.

If you think possums are wierd--check out armadillos. They will tear up your yard, big time!

Re: opossum encounter
Opossums are relatively harmless. I say relatively, because they are still wild animals, but are usually more afraid of you than you are of them. When in the south, especially the coastal plains of North Carolina, you want to be more wary of the poisonous Copperhead snakes. If you see a black snake, or king snake, you can be pretty sure there are no copperheads nearby.
