Microwave Spiking Voltage When Turned On???
We used the microwave while we were camping last weekend in Florida and we noticed that it sounded a wee bit louder than it normally would. Our voltage monitor read a jump of 135 volts while the microwave was turned on. It also caused our fridge to sound an alarm and turn off. Never really experienced that problem before. Any input and help very much appreciated.

You might want to have an electrician have a look at it. There might be some problems with the wiring.

That happened to us once while we were camping in Utah during the Spring Break. It turned out that the GFI in the bathroom tripped which caused it.

Get an electrician have a look at it. There might be a ground or a faulty wiring somewhere.
