Stacked or Combo???
I've been thinking of adding a washer and dryer in our MH as a surprise wedding anniversary gift for my wife. At home, we used a stacked washer and dryer, but when I'm looking at it, I'm thinking it might eat up way to much space in our MH. A friend of mine suggested to get a combo instead, but I'm not really sure on how well they work. Our wedding anniversary is next month, so I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me out on this one soon.

Great gift idea! I'd recommend to go with the Combo. It allows your wife to throw the load in and just leave it until it's done and dry.

Re: Stacked or Combo???
It really depends on three things: the amount of space that you have in your Motorhome for the washer and dryer, and the amount of laundry you normally wash while you're out camping and how frequent does your wife do the laundry.

A combo washer and dryer is good if you got only a small space in your Motorhome, you don't really have that much laundry to wash when you go out and your wife doesn't do it regularly (like once a week). Otherwise, you'll be better off with a stacked washer and dryer combo.

Angela pretty much covered everything here. Space and the load of laundry that you do whenever you do camping are things that you'd really have to consider. We actually have a combo washer/dryer. One of the nice things I like about this is that we can just dump everything in at night and then just get it all out the next day when we wake up.

Re: Stacked or Combo???
Yup, angela got everything covered here. We have a combo washer and dryer in our Motorhome. We bring more than enough clothes so we don't really need to do a lot of washing while we're out camping. Not to mention it does save you on the dollars that you'd otherwise spend using the laundry services offered by most campgrounds.
