One thing that I've noticed since we got our motorhome is that we seem to have to rotate and change the tires here more often than with our other vehicles. The tires we had on them were about 5 years old, but has so much wear on them that we had to change them. The tires on our SUV has been on them for 15 years, and they are still looking great.
I guess I'm just trying to figure out why RV tires have such a poor life expectancy, and what are the ways that I can extend it to more than 5 years. I honestly find it so outrageous on how much we'll have to spend every 5 years for brand new tires. |
