TT without the Carpet?
Is it possible to order a TT from like a road show without the carpets? Will that make the price lower? A friend of mine is considering of getting a TT (no specific brand yet), and one of his kids has asthma so getting a carpet is a big no-no. Thanks so much for the input.

Re: TT without the Carpet?
It really depends on the manufacturer your friend will be ordering the TT from. Ordering it without a carpet is considered to be a customized order by many manufacturers. Some do and some don't. Best is to talk to the manufacturer if they will allow your friend to order a TT without the carpet.

Go and check with the manufacturer if they will allow they allow customization. Or better yet, if your friend can find already one without the carpet, that will be so much better so you don't have to worry about negotiating with the manufacturer about it.

I'd suggest to go check with the local dealers if they have one that doesn't have a carpet. As for the price, I don't think it will make the price lower. In fact, there is even a possibility that they may even charge extra for your request to get vinyl or wooden floors for the TT since, like what everyone said, they will consider it as a custom request.

Re: TT without the Carpet?
I agree with what ejdixon said. More often than not, TTs that don't have a carpet are either (1) customized by the manufacturer or (2) the owner did the change in the flooring on their own. You can always try to negotiate the prices a bit, though.
