Thanks for sharing this. I'm just curious, though. Won't the melted wax on top of the carton make it harder for you to light it up?

By tearing the individual pieces off, you get a "fuzzy" edge that is very easy to light. Also, if you will only be able to pour on enough wax to cover the lint. There is still some bare carton that will also light quickly.

Sorry for the LONG delay in replying. I've only got this site bookmarked on one of the three computers I regularly use and I couldn't remember which one it was!

Don't know if you had a chance to try these yet, but I have. They work really well. They get the fire going strong without having to use any kindling. I've made some using sawdust rather than dryer lint and they work just as well.
