Keep Dry When Camping
Here are two tips for keeping dry when camping:

The best places to pitch a tent are well drained flat spots.

Avoid low lying areas where water may collect, especially if a sudden rain storm should occur.

Bring a rug to put in front of your tent to wipe your feet off before entering the tent. I also always bring a towel I don't care about to wipe my feet off as well.

I actually line the under part of my tent with another tarp. It helps serve as a barrier between the ground and the tent so it helps keep it drier.

those storage bags that you can suck the air out of with a vacuum are a really good investment. even if you don't use the vacuum, just using them to store stuff while you're camping works great because they are waterproof.
