camping on the beach
i have another concern. i am in the process of booking a camping trip for me and my boyfriend for our 2 year anniversary. we decided to go camping on the beach because we thought that it would be an intimate setting for us.but the tents are so close to each other that i am afraid that we will not have privacy. should i keep the reservation (the beach is beautiful) or go to another site?

If privacy is really that important to you (considering it's your anniversary after all), I'd suggest to just go and look for another campground located around the same area, or go and choose a different beach. There are tons of really great beaches, and you wouldn't really have a problem finding one.

There are loads of other beaches to go. You shouldn't have any problems finding one that's just as intimate and beautiful as the one you wanted.

I'd go for either California or Florida if you're just going to limit yourself to the US. But since you mentioned that this is your anniversary, why not head over to Mexico. Hubby took me there once and it was gorgeous.

I agree with everyone else here, if you're not really too keen about how close the camping sites are to each other, you can just look for another beach to spend your anniversary. There's lots of places to go. My boyfriend and I spent a weekend at Cumberland Island, Georgia. It's quite beautiful and pretty secluded. The National Park Service limits the number of campers that can come and stay here each day. We didn't have any problems with privacy or crowds.
