Fall Camping Tips
Fall's coming, and that means cooler weather and shorter days. Here are a few tips to keep warm and comfortable when tent camping in the fall:

- Bring more clothes than you think you'll need

- Make sure you have enough firewood

- Make sure you have a properly rated sleeping bag

- Be sure to have a storage device that will keep your gear protected from the elements

Don't also forget to layer up, especially at night. If you can afford it, invest in a portable heater. Finally, make sure that you pack a lot of coffee and soups. You'll be thankful you did. :)

Re: Fall Camping Tips
If you're tent camping, make sure to bring extra tarps to line your tent and set up a couple of tarps above your tent. It will give you some protection and shelter from the cold and rains

Make sure not also to forget to bring waterproof matches or a zippo and good fire starters for your campfire. It can get quite windy during the fall and the chilly air in the evening can make it more challenging (and frustrating) to get a fire going.

Re: Fall Camping Tips
Bring lots more water. The cold dry air can make you a lot more dehydrated.
