If a full trimmer sells his house then can you pick a state to registered there truck and trailer? What about income tax? My wife and I are talking about selling our house and hit the road. We will work camp because we need an income to help us out.

Re: Fulltime and State
Anyone in the US can generally choose any state to be a home state. But, of course, it isn't really as simpe as that. There are so many issues to be considered when choosing a home state. Income taxes, property taxes, vehicle registration fees etc.

Here's a page with some basic info: http://www.rv-dreams.com/home-base-selection.html

Do a Google search on keywords like: "choosing rv home state" and "Choosing RV home base" will point you to lots more info.
