Florida snowbirding CG recommendations?

We have decided to be snowbirds next winter (sorry to mention the "w" word) and therefore I've been researching mid-Florida and further south Florida CG's for a couple days to no avail. Either they are booked up or too expensive or 55+ park or really bad reviews, ect. Does anyone have any suggestions that they are willing to share? If you don't want to broadcast your favorite spot to the world and are willing to PM me, I promise to keep it a secret . We are hoping to move around if possable, not ones to stay in one place more than a month.

thanks in advance and happy spring

I have to say, when I read the title of your thread, I thought you were asking which campgrounds to try and see some snowbirds. Hehehe!!

Do you have any preferred area in South Florida that you're planning to stay at, or any would do?

You will find most parks are going to be over 55 and many will be full for Jan, Feb, and March.

It's going to be quite difficult to find one that's not full at this time, henry, since a lot are planning to head down south there. Where exactly are you planning to go in south FL?

Try Tropical Palms, Kissimmee, Fl. near Orlando. Beautiful park
