We recently took a trip and I have to say, I'm amazed on how much the gas prices jumps the moment that you cross the border of one state and go into another. We decided to fuel up in SC and it was about $4.24 for diesel but when we crossed into NC, we were shocked that it was just $3.65. And they are just right beside each other! Anyone can shed some light on this? |
Between states is no big surprise, it varies greatly within a state, near my house, regular gas is $3.55, on I-81 anywhere near Roanoke, it runs from $3.23- $3.37. Around Richmond, it varies from one side of town to another. |
