Just be careful and make sure that you keep your drinks concealed. You won't have a problem whether or not the park allows alcohol or not. |

Based on our experience, whether or not they have a no alcohol in the campground policy, it's hardly enforced. We've been to a few campgrounds where they specifically mentioned that no drinking is allowed in the campground, yet it never fails that we encounter a few rather loud people that are drinking that have to be reprimanded by the rangers. |

Hahaha!!! Sad but true. For as long as you keep your alcohol and can handle your liquor well, that shouldn't be a problem. |

I've never seen a NF, NP, or COE CG where it wasn't posted, Many say "NO Alcohol Allowed", I've seen some that only restrict to certain areas, "No Alcohol in Beach area", but always clearly posted. |

That's because it is easy to step on smashed glass with bare feet on a beach area. Not fun to do!
I have to say I'm ok with discrete drinking, especially a nice glass of wine with a meal. What miffs me are folks who don't pick up after themselves, leaving broken glass or burnt out cans in the fire rings. [People...what are you thinking? These things do not burn!!!] The the next person who uses the campsite has to clean up before they can start a proper fire.
Please if you want an alcoholic beverage, just remember to clean up and dispose of the bottle or can properly. |
