Going to the Oregon Coast
Finally got our motorhome running again. Found the blankety blank alarm system that had shorted out and ate the new battery. Les Schawbs did replace it. Hopefully we will now be able to go to the Wallowa valley and the Oregon coast for 2 weeks in July.

Be sure to ride the gondola lift when you get to the Wallowas. Great views and friendly squirels. :)

Re: Going to the Oregon Coast
If you have not been that way before I suggest that you stop at Rufus, mile post 109,(dry camping) then it is an easy days drive to Astoria via I 84, north on I 5A and I 5. Cross the river at Longview WA. We always stay at state parks on the coast. Last year it was $23 for full hook ups. We are also going out the middle of July.

Hey man! How did your trip go? I'm planning to head over to Wallowa Valley late this month. Can you give me suggestions on where to stay?
