Workamping without an RV?
I know that this sounds like a really stupid question, but I was wondering if that is even possible? My mom has been looking things that she could do and keep her kinda busy and active. She enjoyed camping a lot when she was younger, so I figured it might be a good idea to suggest this to her. But she doesn't own an RV.

Yes, it's actually possible to go workamping even if you don't have an RV. Some private campgrounds would often provide lodging to their workampers, provided that they stay and are willing to work for a long period of time. You can check with the campground owners if they do.

Re: Workamping without an RV?
First off, it's not at all a stupid question. I came across a lot of folks that really wanted to do a bit of workamping, but think that they need to have an RV to do so. To answer your question, yes, there are campgrounds that provide accommodations for full-time workampers.

Since you're doing this for your mom, you may want to accompany her to a few workamping stints to see if she really enjoys it and get the hang of things as well.

Some state and private campgrounds offer lodging for workampers. They usually include this kind of information in their ads. But, if they don't, best to ask them.

Best to check with the campground owners when you apply. Some campgrounds do. Some don't.
