Question: What is a workamper?
Answer: A workamper is someone who has combined part-time or full-time work with RV camping. These people can be business owners, employees, or volunteers.

The major benefit is to be able to pack up and move around freely, which is greatly appreciate by many avid RVers. Included with that freedom is the ability to see family regularly. Other perks include reduced expenses (such as gas and campground fees), free attraction tickets and rig hook-ups, and time for recreational activities (such as boating, fishing, and hiking.)

Does the live of the workamper sound like the life for you?

Re: Question: What is a workamper?
It sounds like the perfect job description for an outdoors person and adventurous. I think it would be perfect for someone constantly on the go. It's similar to voluntourism. This would be the perfect job for me.

Re: Question: What is a workamper?
The life of a workamper sounds exciting but doesn't sound like the life for me.

Who hires workampers?
Do people actually scout for workampers out there? Seems cool but im confused about what occupations would enable this lifestyle.
