Convection/Microwave Ovens for Baking?
Has anyone tried baking with a convection/microwave oven? I love to bake, and I was planning to bake a few goodies on our way up to my parents' home for the holidays. I usually do my baking using the a regular oven at home. But given the distance and the fact that there is a HUGE chance that they might get devoured by my husband and kids before we even leave, I was thinking of baking it while we're on the road.

Thanks in advance and Happy Holidays!

The wife uses it everyday while on the road.

My wife loves to bake and judging from how my wife's been dropping hints about getting a convection oven for our home this Christmas, I can say that it does quite a good job.

Once I got the hang of using the CM, I've never looked back. Personally, I find that it does a better job in baking. The heat is more concentrated and seems to be more evenly distributed.

Tried a couple of times with it. It's still a toss up for me. Baked some cookies and they turned out fine, but when I tried when I was doing some pies, it didn't really come out the way how I was hoping it would.
