I have been smoking all kinds of things for over 20 years. You can use almost any kind of wood or even a blend of woods. I have used Hickory, Apple, Pear, Peach, Cherry, Orange, And even lemon, I like a blend of Hickory & Cherry. It gives pork a sweet taste with a little bite at the end. So mix them up and try them all! You can look on line or even Bass Pro Shops have a good bunch. I have even used crabapple from my back yard. |
