Portable Way to Bring Spices
I've seen a lot of really great recipes here and really want to try some of them. Thing is, most of the time, we're doing a lot of hiking and spend most of the time away from our RV. Can you recommend a really handy set of spice vials or containers that we can use and bring with us without worrying about us breaking them.

Before we go out hiking, we get some plastic straws and put the spices and oil we need for our food and label them. We seal them by running the ends over a flame.

Ordinary ziplock bags should do the trick. If you're bringing liquid stuff, you can run the top of the plastic bag over a fire to seal it further and prevent it from leaking.

I got a vacuum sealer that I take with me whenever we go camping. Whenever we need to bring a few things while hiking, it keeps it fresh.

The bags work great for the spices, for oil or other liguids, use empty pill bottles, (yours that is).
