Bad Experience with CoachNet
I was on my way home from the local grocery store, I tried to start my car and it wouldn't start. I called CoachNet for assistance. They said that they will send someone to help out within an hour. Instead of a tow truck, they sent a kid who had nothing more but jumper cables. He tried to start the car, and it still wouldn't start. He told me that it needed to be towed (no duh!). So I called CoachNet back about this. Imagine my frustration when they told me that I am only entitled to just one roadside assistance for free. They can send me a tow truck but it will not be covered and will be at my expense. Thing is, if they already sent out the tow truck out and not the kid to begin with, it would have been covered and I wouldn't have had to call back. I ended up having to get a garage nearby to send a tow truck to pick up my car, and still have to pay for it. Is there any way that I can get them still to reimburse me on this?

Re: Bad Experience with CoachNet
Sorry to hear that, padmej. Have you tried calling them and talk to them about it?

Sorry to hear that. I've learned before to always ask them to bring a wrecker or a tow truck right at the beginning whenever I call for assistance. As for the reimbursement, I don't think that it will be possible. They clearly state it in the contract that the free service is only for one assistance per breakdown.

Re: Bad Experience with CoachNet
Check again the fine print of the terms and conditions of your membership before you call them.

Re: Bad Experience with CoachNet
That is surprising. I have been with CoachNet for quite a while now, and during those times that I needed some assistance, they never failed to provide me with really good customer service and they provided me with the assistance that we needed. Not for anything, but I was wondering if you explained the situation and did you tell them what you already have tried to do when you called them?
