RV parks near College Station Texas
Can anyone recommend a really good RV park near College Station in Texas? We'd really want to head over there and see UF play against Texas A&M during the A&M's inaugural SEC football game.

I'd recommend to try and see if you can get a reservation at Holiday RV Park. Got to stay here once with my folks a few summers back. Really nice campground, but also quite expensive since they don't give out RV discounts. It's about 2 1/2 miles away from Texas A & M University so it's definitely going to be really convenient for you. Have a great trip.

I'd also recommend Holiday RV Park, but I heard from my friend who happened to also be going down to watch the game that it's been booked out a few months back. He managed to get a reservation at the Lake Somerville State Park Birch Creek Unit. Pretty nice campground. The downside is that it's quite far. About 20 miles or something from A&M Uni. But if you really would like to see the game, I guess it would be better than nothing.

If you're just going to make a reservation now, it's going to be close to impossible. We tried finding one close by but they've all been booked a few weeks back. You might be able to find more luck further out, but that would mean a long way's drive for you to and back just to see the game.
