Re: California's Central Coast
Hello Melissa,

If you really like camping right close to the Monterey Bay then I would suggest New Brighton State Beach in Capitola, CA. south of Santa Cruz off Highway 1 and the Park Ave. exit. This is a great campground for families and retired folks and it attracts more RV`s than tents. Next to the cliff there is a large day use picnic area and a restroom with showers. This state beach will close next year as it is on the hit list which is sad. Be sure to make reservations way ahead of time as it is a popular destination for those traveling up and down coastal California.

Happy Camping,
Greg
Santa Cruz, CA.

Re: California's Central Coast
Santa Cruz Redwoods is one of the best campgrounds in California's central coast for me. Went there just this past summer with the family and we loved it! It's located within the beautiful redwood forest. Everything was recently renovated and replaced: new electric boxes and picnic tables. The place was spotless and the bathrooms here were the cleanest I've ever seen. It's just a short drive from Santa Cruz and very near Felton.
