| Changed from Speegleville Park to Reynolds Creek Park | The name of this park is now Reynolds Creek COE Park.
Another nice COE park. We were in Lot 9 which was a nice long pull through near restroom and dumpster. Just about lakeview if there are no campers in the lower part of the loop. The water level is low but not as bad as some of the other lakes in the area. Several COE campgrounds on Waco Lake; this one had available sites. I think the parks are very popular on weekends. Lots of boat ramps. Had Verizon phone and could get on the internet using my Verizon hotspot. Waco is a really neat city although their main highways don't "flow" smoothly into each other. If you come during the week, say HI to Dean and his wife, very nice gatekeepers at Reynolds. We recommend this park and will stay here again if we pass through Waco again.

A Corps of Engineers campground so we were able to use our Senior Access and pay half the rate. We had Lot TO18 which was great! Nice shady trees and right across from the very clean restrooms. There's not much left to this lake either due to the extreme drought and heat in this part of Texas. Had there been a lake, we would have had a nice lake view but as it was, we had a little creek view. Quiet. Deer. About 9 miles from the small town of Coleman. No Verizon reception at all but they said AT&T works great. We would stay here again.

| No lake but great campground | Nice park. Unfortunately, the lake is no more. The drought and heat has really played havoc with the water this year but, unless you're a farmer or rancher, you don't notice it as much 'til you get to a campground where the lake has dried up. So sad. Texas charges $3 a day per person whether you're camping or not and that is reflected in the rate I posted. We had a nice long level pull-thru which was easy in-easy out. Part of the Texas Longhorn herd is here and they also have a bison herd but we didn't see them. We did see some cute little ground squirrels at our site (or kitten was fascinated by them) and prairie dogs across from the cattle pasture.
The park is close to town on good roads. San Angelo, the city, has a lot to offer in the line of shopping, restaurants, museums, parks, etc. but since we were there only 2 nights, didn't really get a chance to see any attractions.
We would definitely stay here again and reco

Second time we've stayed here and we still like it better than the other parks nearby. At this time of year, it's not crowded Indoor pool and hot tub. Large easy-in, easy-out sites. Immaculate laundry ($1.00 per washer/dryer) and restrooms. Lots of good cable channels. Trains and interstate nearby but you don't really hear them. Plenty to see in the area within 5 minutes' drive. Only thing missing is an RV repair/supply store. Great museum! And within easy drive to Rockhound and City of Rocks State Parks plus other sightseeing places. The only reason I gave it a 3 is because their Wi-Fi is not at all dependable. Oftentimes, it has dropped me in the middle of some important work. Once they fix that problem, I'll give it a 4 or 5.

Yes, the Nellis AFB jets take off every morning and return every night and they ARE noisy!!! But, that aside, the restrooms and laundry are immaculate; the pool is great for those hot spring/summer days. Wifi is a little iffy but okay for browsing if there are not too many others on. Sites are not large but we didn't feel cramped. Two nice dog runs and they were putting in a putting green and driving net when we left. Security gate and walled all around. Walls are a normal thing in Vegas due to wind at times. We will be staying here next year and recommend it to others.

No crowded sites; all gravel sites private with oleander bushes between them. Nice pool; did not use the laundry or restrooms. Wifi costs $2.95 a day from a private vendor; no cable but lots of stations from antenna. Desert for walking your pets. We will stay here again on our way west and would recommend this to others.

| Very near the battlefields | Rate reflects Passport America rate. Stopped here for 2 nights on our way south. Laundry is clean; ditto for restrooms. Seems like there would be plenty of activities in season. Horseback rides through the battlefield would be tops. You can even bring your own horse as they have stalls available. A little difficult to get level on our lot, and it didn't appear that others around us were very level either. A little grading would help this. Very well stocked store, especially for so late in the season. We would recommend this to others.

Just stopped for 2 nights on our way south. Main campground (and all facilities) closed on 10/15 but 6 long pull-through sites were available for short stays until 10/31. Absolutely beautiful campground with a lot of nice seasonal setups. Owner very friendly and helpful. Beautiful views and convenient to I-88. We would recommend this to anyone passing through the area.

We were a little worried when we made reservations for this campground because there was only one other review, although it was a good review. This is a very well-kept campground right on the St. Joseph River under the Village of Berrien Springs auspices. Very friendly staff, immaculate grounds, small playground for kids, good electric/water and sewer. Only downside is there is no cable TV but we got the national stations we wanted via antenna. We were only booked for a week but liked the campground and area so much we logged in for a second week. There is but one negative I can find about this park: there is only one bathhouse for the whole park (also immaculate) which would make for some pretty fast a.m. runs for those camped down by the river in tents. The addition of some strategically placed porta-pots would be helpful. At present, there are only 4 pull-through sites (sun, no shade) but more are in the planning for this fall. .

The manager first put us in a nice shaded spot, but we realized that there was the possibility of another camper being parked directly behind us if the park got crowded so we asked for an open site in the P section: the area in the middle of about 3 mowed acres. Great WiFi here; great antenna reception here; overall a good area if it's not the middle of summer since there's no shade. Miniature golf and driving range costs to the camper. Close to Nappanee, Elkhart and Shipshewana. We would recommend this park to others.
