| Epic hikes and great lake beach | The campground is in the trees are top of a ridge - not much in the way of views, but a great little hike down to the lake (has a great beach - but cost to enter is not included with campground fee). No hook-ups, but hot showers in the bathhouse. We have small kids and there are some great short hikes to waterfalls.

| Great park for Military families | Concrete pads and FHUs up on top a hill - although our favorite spots are the water and electric spots down by the lake (also concrete level pads there). Lots of activities for the kids - great playground and the lake beach in the summer time.

| Best park with most activities - Stay in the summer, kids will love it | Our favorite camping park. Tons of activities for the kids (indoor pool, outdoor pool, putt-putt, short hikes, nature museum). Campground spots are cut into hills - so bring lots of levelers....but great facilities with hot showers and friendly staff.

| Excellent Park, outdoor activities (pool, hikes, and mountain views) | Great campground for a state park. We have 3 small kids and stayed here in July. Great swimming pool, nature museum, and hiking. Mount Morrow overlook provides great views (you can drive up or hike). Only about an hour to the Asheboro Zoo for a day trip.

| Great area, friendly hosts, hot showers and clean facilities. | We stayed a night here in October 2015 to be close to the BR Parkway and Mabry Mill. It's right off the parkway and a quick set up in generally level spots. They have a little playground for my 3 small kids. We would definitely stay here again. There's water, electric, and sewer in all spots.
