We were there a year and a bit back. Great place to stay for a couple of days. There is enough to keep the kids occupied with the playground, pool and mini golf. We were able to use the rec hall for a few hours allowing our kids to do some projects. This place would be good for bigger groups and families like ours traveling together. The people are really nice here. We would come back again and again.

| Fine for the night but run down | The sites are fine, but the place is just run down and old. The upside is that is is easy to get into town. Nothing too special, don't expect much for the price.

| Great place to be with the trees | I really enjoyed my stay here last year. The sites are wooded and you really feel part of nature, which is very different to some of the concrete RV parks you can come across. The recreation facilities are excellent and the pool is very well kept. Even though we have a TT, next time we come back I want to try one of the tee-pees!

Not really good for the money. Older digs which dont compare to other campgrounds we've stayed at. Decent for pass thu or keep going.

Passed thu earlier in the year. Good for raceway. Usual KOA digs, nice and quiet and looked after. enjoyed the lake but no luck on the fish front. Next time.

Nice place to stay for a couple of days. Bathrooms were well cleaned. Not the usual shower issues. Appreciate the flat sites especially with wifi. No pool tho but can get to Talladega quick. Planning to try the fishing next time we pass thu

| Great people and lots of things to do | Always something going on. Nephews spent hours on the shuffleboard. Just don't spill coffee over other people! Not a morning person. Bathrooms and toilets are fine. The usual morning mess, but cleaned up pretty quick when we were there. Things look pretty well looked after. Seems to catch the snowbirds.

Stayed there earlier this year. Cabins basic but very comfortable, clean and nice. The nephews liked the playground maybe too much. Would come again.

| Nice place. Friendly people | Good place and we finally saw deer. Nice flat sites but some times a tight fit if you have a big motorhome so pick your site. Spots are nice and shady which works well when you have a pop up.

| Buyer beware - warning - potential scam | A couple of weeks ago there was a 2005 Jayco 27d Class C motorhome being offered on Craigslist. With about 15,000 miles on the clock, going for under $10K. Too good to be true right? Well, I contacted the lady and she sent some pictures, and then offered to put it on ebay private auction for me. Sounded too fishy - she sent me an email, and then another link to a website which my computer said was dangerous when I tried to click it. Although the link said ebay, it was trying to take me to somewhere else. So, people, buyer beware. It if seems too good to be true, it probably is.
====Real or Scam?======
Hi my name is Patricia Wilson, The 2005 Jayco 27d Class C Motorhome is still for sale. The condition is from very good to excellent,only 15,426 miles,leather driver and passenger seats,e450 chassis, v10 engine with six speed automatic transmission and tow mode with engine braking. Here are some pics:http://picasaweb.google.es/patriciawls66/2005jayco27dclassc . The title is clear and on my name. My final price is $9.600. I already has tons of emails so I hope you understand that I need to sort them out. I will take in consideration only those who are really interested in buying the motor home, to be sure that I don't waste my time with endless discussions that will lead to nothing. This way, I shall be assured of the serious intentions.
Thank you.
P.S. I will make a private auction just for you on eBay at the buy it now price of $9,600 so you can purchase it there.That way you will receive assistance for the purchase, paperwork, title transfer and an extended warranty, knowing that eBay insures this purchase up to $ 10.000 . After I will make the auction I will give you the directions, let me know if you are interested in my offer.

| Re: I-40 Closed at NC/TN Line | I found this on wsoctv 9. Special thanks to Jamie Bowers for turning a rockslide into a senic tour
"SCENIC" I-40 ROCKSLIDE DETOUR
1.Heading west from Asheville on I-40, take Exit 27/US 74/Great Smoky Mountains Expressway. 2.If it's near lunch or dinner, consider stopping at the historic Jarrett House in Dillsboro (take US 441 South into Dillsboro - just a few minutes off Highway 74, and well worth it!). 3.From Dillsboro, continue west on Highway 74. 4.Turn right onto US 441 North (toward Cherokee). 5.Follow US 441 through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. 6.In Gatlinburg, turn right onto US 321 and follow to I-40. 7.You'll rejoin I-40 near Newport, TN, just across the NC/TN state line.
Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge is a blast. Anyone been to Dollywood lately?! ...nephews loved the Stampede
