| A good enough base for visiting New Braunfels | As far as RV parks go, it's decent enough. It's clean with reasonably sized sites. The staff running the place are pleasant folks who know their jobs. Nice and clean bathroom and laundry room. Very good wifi but no cable TV. Nothing much to do here but the location is good enough to make it a base for exploring New Braunfels and San Marcos. The only thing I didn't like here are the dirt roads. It can be really dusty on windy days.

| Great Campground for the Family | Our family loves this campground a lot! Sites are properly spaced so that you get some privacy. Plenty of hiking and running trails. Great time fishing here. Last time we were here, the place was getting a bit crowded with people. Not like how it used to be. Still, I'd recommend this campground

One thing I can say about North Pines is that nothing beats the experience of waking up to the sight of Half Dome and the other granite cliffs. Truly majestic and exhilarating to look at. It doesn't matter that this place doesn't have hookups or amenities; the beauty of this place overshadows everything. But if you're looking for the practical stuff, you'll still find it here in North Pines. The sites are large enough, but the roads are narrow and tricky to drive through. No hookups, but there's a dump station and a water source in Upper Pines.

| Bad location, noisy and no amenities | This RV park is only good for overnight stays, and only if you're desperate enough. It's a good 12 miles away from Zion National Park and you have to pass through a narrow road and a dark tunnel to get there from this RV park. The sites are gravel and adequately spaced though you have to level them. Good shade trees. Full hookups except cable TV. They don't have bathrooms or laundry rooms or any other amenities right in the park, but we were allowed to use those at the Best Western Hotel right across the street. Since the park is right on the highway, there's a lot of noise from the traffic. I'll only come back here if I don't have any other choice.

| Get ready for dry camping | This campground is excellent if you don't mind living without hookups. The sites are very roomy and have lots of space in between. There are a lot of good shade trees. The bathrooms are clean and well-lit at night. I just wish they've got a dump station and water. We had to drive back to top up our water. There's also some traffic noise since it's quite close to the highway.

| Great State Park for overnight stays | This campground is great for those who want to rough it out. No hookups, no cable TV or wi-fi but lots of other things to do like fishing and boating. It's also some 20 minutes away from St. George. The views are lovely. Staff are nice people. The sites are too steep and could use some leveling.

This campground is beautiful and well-maintained by its friendly and helpful camp hosts. The sites are big and even though they don't have hookups, there are lots of water spigots in the campground. The only drawback to this campground is the roads are narrow and it can be tricky to drive through them.

| Pleasant enough by strict with the rules | If you don't mind parking your RV on a site right on the beach, then you may find Bolsa Chica good enough. The sites have only basic electric and water hookups. No sewer, cable or wi-fi. Convenient place, just a short drive away from Disneyland and other attractions.
Too strict with enforcing state park rules and not friendly at all. We didn't appreciate it and made us feel very unwelcome.

This campground has a very nice location that is central to everything, from the local attractions to the restaurants and the stores. This alone can make up for the lack of amenities inside the park. Having said that, it's not so bad at all. The grounds are clean and neat. The bathrooms and laundry room are spotless and everything in there is in working order. There are many permanent residents, but they're friendly enough. The staff are friendly as well. The sites are shady and fairly level. There are full hookups available as well as wi-fi but no cable. It's good for short stays or as a base for visiting PA attractions, but it's definitely no resort.

We decided to stay in this campground because it was very close to town and the only one that is not a seniors-only campground. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. Practically no trees in the park. Sites and roads were extremely dusty. Wi-Fi is extremely slow. Bathrooms need to be updated. We were supposed to stay for a week but decided to check out after just a day. Found another park a bit further away but much better.
