| Not a good park to stay in for Big Rigs |
Stayed in this park last year without a problem. This year when we returned, for a long term stay, they parked us in a space that did not accommodate the use of the auto-hauler we tow. I asked if we could move one space over, but were told it was a handicap space. I told them we would stay the month we had paid for and then go elsewhere. Last evening they tried to park another Tag next to us, which was a tight fit. When my wife went out to ask if we needed us to move our car, she was told no, we were fine. After that a women came up and told us we were parked wrong. My wife came back in and told me what was said. so I went to see what the problem was. The women in question turned out to be the owners wife, who was very belligerent. I told her it was the owner who parked us and to calm down and she told me not to point my finger at her, which at that time things became heated. The owner came down and told his wife to leave and as she left she said she owned the park and could do whatever she wanted. This morning the owner came by after 10 a.m. and told us we had to leave and be out by noon. The reason was that I had called his wife names, which was not true. The folks they were trying to move in next to us, came back and apologized, stating that they were only staying one night and didn't understand why the owners wife was in such a tirade. Moral is "If you stay here, don't disagree with the owner or his wife".
We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.
