| Small quaint park, great for families & pets | This is a small, quaint campground off NY7 and adjacent to I-88. The owner wasn't there at check-in but a sign directed us to pick an open spot. Being mid-October, there were plenty to chose from. While you're mainly in a grass field with seasonals occupying the outside sites, the weekenders like us had level pull-thru, shaded sites. The owner stopped by to welcome us, asked if we needed anything, and suggested sites to see and a place to eat (Gibby's, 5 mi east and recommended). He checked on us daily at 6:30pm to see if we needed anything and just to chat; nice touch! The only thing from giving this a 10 is the road noise from I-88, which isn't a big deal. We will camp here again.

| Nice park for families & pet owners, closest to Chimney Bluffs State Park | The sites here are much larger and some are more private than most private RV parks. Sites are mostly level and the hosts are very nice. We had an issue with our site so they moved us, no issue. It looks like they upgraded the electric and sewers within the last few years and minor improvements like gravel and roads seem to be ongoing. Oddly, they charge $5 deposit for a key to the bathroom but the bathrooms were clean with large showers. Minor issue with the sewer hook up as our site was slightly uphill but we managed to make it work. If you don't need a sewer connection, the "W" section has large, private, wooded sites. Overall a nice place to stay and will do so again.
