This campground has a big raccoon problem. Make sure your food is secured inside your vehicle, not just in a cooler or inside the tent. While relaxing by the fire, eating some hot dogs we were roasting by the fire, a raccoon came under my chair and took the package of hot dogs and tried to attack myself and my friend who were right there. I was then awake all night listening to the raccoons eat all of my food. I had the coolers closed and under the benches of the picnic table. When I came out in the morning, the coolers were moved from under the table, open, and empty. The facility itself was good, and the lake is amazing. Being this close to the park, I will not be staying again, but visiting for day trips.
We stayed here in a Tent.

I stayed in a camping cabin with my mother and my 2 children. The location was perfect to see Custer State Park and Wind Cave National Park. It was a quick day trip to Deadwood, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Rapid City. We had a great trip and will be coming back. The camping cabins were excellent, with clean restrooms available, and an outdoor pool for days you want to stay close to camp. I can't wait for my next trip to the Black Hills when I can stay here again!
