Conveniently located close to I-5 yet very quiet at night. Staff here are very nice. Sites are a bit narrow and everything is either dirt or gravel. The sites along row D give you a nice view of the river so make sure to try to get a spot here when you come and stay.

Stayed July 2014. The Wisconsin State Fair park is just one huge asphalt parking lot with hookups, but it's adequate for our needs. It doesn't offer much in terms of facilities aside from the hookups and laundry, but it's a great base for exploring Milwaukee.

| Disorganized, Run Down and Not Clean | The park reservation is disorganized. We made prior reservations but they were not able to find it when we arrived. The campground has a lot of permanent settlers. The sites are short, flat, gravel and very narrow. We had a full hookup site with 30 amps and the site services worked well although the box lid was broken. Fair bit of road noise. The bathrooms are dated and not very clean. The only positive thing is that the site is located at the heart of Tucson.
I wouldn't recommend staying here.

| Nice Campground, Pond and Trails | Nice quiet wooded campground. Dirt / grass primitive sites are designed for tent camping or small RVs. No site hookups with a few water spigots available. Some sites have a view of the pond. Bath house is modern and clean. Showers work well but they're hard to use with the push buttons which give you a few seconds of water at a time. There's no place to sit to get undressed and no place to hang clothes to keep them dry. No WiFi.
Park has some nice easy trails that are worth hiking - Shoreline and Pond Loop.
Recommend the park for quiet weekend getaway. Otherwise not enough to do here.
