With Valentine's Day around the corner it's a perfect time to really enjoy ourselves, our significant others, all in the presence of nature. Here is a list of the top three regions to explore on your romantic camping road trip this Valentine's Day. But this isn't your typical "Top Three" list. We understand that each couple is unique and that is why we've chosen destinations that speak to the adventure seekers, the cuddly wuddlies, and the infomaniacs!

1.  UTAH

For thrill-seeking couples who are looking for the next adventure high or challenging hiking trial, Moab, UT is where you want to be. Moab is known as the adventure capital of Utah and there is a good reason why. There are many trails of varying levels for you go to mountain biking. Nothing beats the thrill of white water rafting in 40 degree weather! So, if you and your honey are die hard adventure seekers then look no further. No matter your level of experience - there's an activity for everyone. You'll even find trips that range from half day to multi-day events which are truly accommodating for the couple on the go! If you enjoy hiking, head on over to Arches National Park, open all year round. Along one of the more moderate trials is where you'll find the most remarkable natural formation - the Delicate Arch. One thing is for sure, you won't run out of romantic adventure spots on this road trip.

2.  CALIFORNIA

Wineries, spas, mountain cabin resorts, massages near hot springs - California has you're your heart desires for cuddly-wuddly couples who are looking for a private escape. Arrange to have a wine tasting at Napa Valley, or book a couple's massage at one of California's beautiful beachfront spas. If you're looking for a cozy outdoor getaway then venture north to the Sierra Mountains where you can book a cabin for the weekend. There'll be no need to leave the cabin when you're snuggling in front of the fireplace. On your way back home, be sure to stop at one of the hot springs, scattered throughout the state, for an invigorating experience.

3.  NEW MEXICO

New Mexico has everything an infomaniac could ask for on a romantic getaway trip. See how scientists observe black holes in outer space, gathering data from countless light-years away. Visit the Very Large Array Visitor Center and stand underneath the 230-ton, 25-meter diameter dish antennas that together [comprise] a single radio telescope system. Head to the central region of the state and visit Petroglyph National Monument, near Albuquerque. Here you'll see 25,000 images carved by natives as well as five volcanic cones. No tour of New Mexico would be complete without a visit with our furry friends. Olivia, from the New Mexico Tourism Department, recommends visiting the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, Los Lunas. Infomanics can purchase a narrative CD from the gift shop and learn, to your heart's delight, about the surroundings as you take in the sights. The visitor's center is open from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset so, plan your visit for later in the day. What's more romantic than viewing a flock of birds heading off into to sunset with your sweetheart?
