Local Directions: From Duluth, MN take Hwy 61 (North Shore Drive) 2 hours to Grand Marias, MN. Pass thru Grand Marais and turn left on the Gunflint Trail Natl. Scenic Byway (cook county 12). Travel 43 Miles to S. Gunflint Lake Rd (cook county 20 -old 50). There's a large sign at the corner of the Gunflint Trail and S. Gunflint Lake Rd. Turn right, then travel about 1.1 miles. You'll pass by the Gunflint Lodge, we'll be the next property on the left. the speed limit is 50, unless marked otherwise.
