Despite lacking any shade trees and characterized by cramped, dusty campsites, we have enjoyed spending a few days every year fishing at Albion. There are several long-term campers who come for the summer season and we have gotten to know them and become very good friends during our short stays. However, this year we were "greeted" by a new manager who acted like this place was his concession. He races around in a golf cart telling people there are new rules and what's what and what not to touch. Although I'm glad to say I've never been in a jail or prison camp, this is the general atmosphere around this place. I have some very mild mobility disabilities, not enough to require special amenities, but I did notice there are absolutely no ADA amenities for parking at the office and at the three boat dock ramps have no designated parking for handicapped.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

Completely agree with olphart. Too many "permanent" residents. It's a great location that could be MUCH better with the right care. Spots are way too close together and trash/recyclables start overflowing. We have only been on holiday weekends but I doubt it's any different other than the crowds. So much potential but it's wasted.

We stayed here in a Class C Motorhome.

One of the worst camping sites we have ever seen and we log over 10,000 miles a year traveling. The sites are ill-defined in a pasture-like setting, which is very uneven and your neighbors are within inches of you in all kinds of equipment. Many permanent residents. Do NOT stay here.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
