Mt. Greylock is a hike-in, car-free campground
Overnight parking and access is available at:
-Campground Parking Lot on Rockwell Road (late-May through Nov. 1). Easiest campground approach via the Campground Trail, easy to moderate 1.3 mile hike with backpack. Elevation gain/loss 100 ft. Average 45 minutes in duration.
-Haley Farm/Hopper Road trailhead in Williamstown (year-round). More challenging campground approach via the Money Brook and Hopper Trails, moderate to strenuous 2.4 mile hike with backpack. Elevation gain 1,275 ft. Average 2 hours in duration.
Lean-to shelters are available at Chimney, Upper and Stony Ledge group sites. One-night minimum stay. Reservations are required from Memorial Day weekend to Columbus Day.
Off-season camping from November 1 May 13 is available on a first-come, first served basis.
Group site can accommodate up to 12 people/site, tent only. Fee is $35 for group of 25 & $1 per person over 25.
