RV Village at the Preserve Pequot Lakes, MN
We took your advice and called these people AFTER we looked at their website. I called and they made it sound soooo nice... you know, kinda like their website.
But what they DON't tell you is the pictures and nice slots are ALL for "SEASONAL" or "OWNERS" of the slots. Those of us that don't fall into those two categories are relegated to a gravel overflow area that is neither scenic nor comfortable. What a bunch of crap! This is NOT 10-10-9 for people that call to get a site for a couple of days or a week or so. NOPE! This place is 4-4-5 at best. They out and out lied to us. We traveled 3 hours to get here and we are stuck in a weeded, tic-infested lot. By the way -- we own a 2014 5th wheel -- not some broken-down motorhome.
This is the second time GS has taken us for a ride on their so called rating system. The first one was in Abilene, Texas.
$50 a night!!! For this? It is NOT what the pictures say. We have to stay until we can get another place and that isn't easy on weekends!
