Perfectly fine stop, close to Petrified Forest. Large sites and staggered, so fairly private. Not the prettiest campground, but a nice open big-sky kind of sunset view. A bunch of petrified wood right there at the office, even! Good WiFi, coffee and muffins in the morning.

| Nothing more than an RV Parking Lot | |
OLD 50’s era RV Park This is an adult, no activities for kids RV park on gravel parking lot with full hookups and broken/cracked asphalt patio with picnic table. Most recent stay was 5-04-16. We camped in a Tear Drop style RV, only 15' long, w/o toilet or shower and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities near our site, so our critique is focused in that area. We did get close to shower / restroom building. However, I have to rate that facility a mediocre 2 star being ugly, old, outdated and in sore need of some TLC and upgrading. It would do wonders for the place. The showers are generous size, have good pressure and lots of hot water and a door on each stall that affords full privacy. They were very clean and didn’t smell so that’s a good thing. The laundry room is much like the restrooms. There are 8 washers with only 5 working. They are on the small side and $1.50 each. The 6 dryers with only 5 working are good size but runs only 36 minutes for $1.50, not nearly long enough to dry jeans and towels on one cycle. Also, we didn’t see a Home Depot nearby, but there is one 50 mi away in Show Low, AZ.
The sites are the longest I've ever seen. All pull thrus and probably 80-90 feet long. They are parking-lot style, side by side on gravel. The set ups alternate, so unless your neighbor has the longest rigs and tow ever you really aren't right next to any.

| Close to Painted Desert and Petrified Forest. | |
We chose this park because it was close to the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest. Holbrook has a nice old museum. The closest Walmart is 30+ miles away. There are lots of restaurants close by. The park is close to I-40, easy off, easy on. As others have said, the park is flat and gravel. They stagger the way they park the RVs.

| Very good stay on I-40...! | |
I think this Park was here when US-66 was in it's prime(?). A very good OVER NIGHT stop. We had 50 Amp with good Cable. Water was turned off about 8:00 PM, due to pending freeze. Sites are gravel, level. People are friendly and give good directions. We were over nighting on our way to Denver. Close, easy on/off to I-40. We will visit again.

This park is close to I-40 in Holbrook, very easy to get into and out of. It is an older park, but everyone is extremely nice and we had no problems with any of the hook-ups. All of the sites are pull thru but many of the sites only have 30A service instead of 50A.
