Local Directions: From US Highway 101 turn west onto the Skokomish Valley Road (6 miles north of Shelton and 7 miles south of Hoodsport). Drive west on the Skokomish Valley Road from the George Adams State Fish Hatchery for about 5 miles to FS Road 23. Turn right onto FS 23 and drive 9.0 miles to FS Road 2353. Turn right onto FS 2353 and drive approximately ¾ mile to the South Fork Skokomish River Bridge. Cross the bridge and make a sharp turn to the right onto FS Road 2340. Brown Creek Campground is located ¼ mile beyond this point.

	Small spots, great swimming

Most spots in the campground seem geared toward RVs so it was tough to set up multiple tents. No water when we were there, no firewood. Vault toilets, no sinks. Remote location so minimal traffic but can be tricky to find. Creek is icy cold but there's great swimming/floating on the river nearby. We stayed here in a Tent.
