Local Directions: Via: Interstate Hwy 37, take the North San Padre Island turnoff (State Hwy 358), stay on the main hwy, will turn off into the navy base, the main Hwy becomes Park Road 22 heading to North San Padre Island, when you arrive on San Padre Island, you'll see a miniature golf course and a Souvenir shop with large nautical figures that are lit at night (L) at next signal on to State Hwy 361, 16 miles you'll see Palmilla Golf and Resort blinking signal with cart overpass above State Hwy 361 (R) at the next signal on to Access Rd. 1A with a stripes on the corner, when you see or hear the Gulf of Mexico (L) into On The Beach RV Park.

Location is great, transportation pickup next to campground, very nice employees helpful, would not stay in the campground again, too primitive for us..
still had a great time in Port A.... would stay in a campground with more elbow room....
