  When Description
Legend of Rawhide July 11, 2014 to July 12, 2014 A narrated pageant based on a local legend of how the Rawhide Buttes got their name. It tells the tale of an Indian Princess and her tribe, a traveling wagon train of pioneers, a cavalry unit, and life in the wild west.

Besides the pageant there is a parade, dance, saddle raffle, car show, poker run, 5K run, no limit Texas Hold'Em, wagon pulling, and tractor show. The whole weekend is full of events during the day with the pageant at night.
