Local Directions: Coming from Maggie Valley: Follow 19 through town, then continue over the mountain into Cherokee. You will pass the Harrah’s Casino, and continue straight into downtown Cherokee. Stay in the Right Hand Lane until you get to Acquoni Rd. The right-hand lane will automatically turn right at the light before crossing the bridge. Follow Acquoni Rd about 2 miles until you come to the Great Smokies Inn. Turn right on Big Cove Road and follow that for 7 ½ miles until you see the signs for Yogi in the Smokies Campground. Turn right over the bridge—turn right after the bridge and continue straight. The Ranger Station is in the middle of the park.
