Great Hudson Valley location tucked in a mature pine forest.

If you're looking to visit and sightsee the Hudson River valley around Rhinebeck NY and Kingston, this is the place. It is also nicely tucked into a mature pine forest, the owners went out of their way to preserve as much as possible. On the positive side, there is a very nice heated swimming pool with snack bar, very clean grounds and facilities and nice landscaping touches. As far as compromises, the roads are in poor shape and half the sites have only 30 amp or less elec. and no black water (most do have grey water though). The owners are however in the process of constant upgrading these to full hookups. Don't expect anything from the small lake, it's overgrown with water vegetation from an energetic beaver population but the wildlife thereof looks of interest. Expect an older campground and moderate prices around $57/nite for a full hookup as well as quiet a few seasonal to permanent house trailers. We work camped here for the two owners who are good folks (so far).

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.
