| Great place to rent a boat | |
The staff was friendly, and you can rent boats at the onsite marine to enjoy High Rock Lake. We rate this three stars, because it seems the majority of the park is permanent residents. That's always uncomfortable for transient campers like us. If you want to try out the world famous Lexington BBQ, ask at the office and they'll point you to their favorite place (which we would rate five stars for the BBQ).
