Nice Area but Campground in Need of Repair

The park itself is very beautiful and there are so many things to do here, but the campground was a whole different story. When we got here, the guy at the office was very rude and seemed to enjoy giving us a difficult time checking in. The site that we got was not level and infested with ants. There were no 50amp hookups which is what we needed. The sites were very narrow and very close to each other that it was impossible not to go in and out without disturbing our neighbors. The bath house is in terrible shape and very dirty. Even though they advertise that they have sewer connections in their sites, apparently this does not apply to all. Even the facilities were in poor condition. The swimming area was already washed out. Very disappointing.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

We camped here for our first Alabama Tearjerker gathering. The campground was clean and the staff was helpful. The campground does show its age, needs a little updating. We lost power to our site two nights due to a weak breaker. I would stay here again
