As with all Tennessee state parks, this one is in beautiful surroundings. It has cabins, full hookup sites with 50 amp service, an excellent swimming pool free to campers, nice hiking trails, and clean restrooms. There is a nice lake with rental boats. The park is rather isolated, but is otherwise a very nice location. Most of the sites are level with full hookups and can be reserved online. Seniors get a deep discount.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

I thought this is a beautiful state park. Lots of nature. Lots of shade on the campsites. The only bad experience was the millions of Yellowjackets that we killed over the weekend. They were everywhere! The other bad thing was finding a brown recluse in the bathhouse. The bathrooms were clean, they just can't keep the bugs out. Great pool though!!! And fun activities for families.

We stayed here in a Popup Trailer.
