Great camping spot for fishing or kayaking, but bring a trash can

Smaller state park with only 57 campsites, but all are nice & fairly level. Quiet and spacious layouts. Each site has fire pit & grill with large picnic table at each site. Each site has water/electric, but there is only one dump station in the campground. We stayed in a site just 30 feet from lake shore. Easy access for putting in a kayak or fishing from the bank. Plenty of wildlife to be viewed. Nice playground area for the kids. No trash cans around except at bathroom or one dumpster on way out. Bathroom facilities are clean, flushable toilets, and showers are plenty big. The showers even have a removable shower head (BONUS). The showers are separated by a small curtain, so privacy is somewhat lacking. Hiking trails are well maintained and variety of difficulty. Camp hosts were friendly and did drive through on a regular basis. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
