This is one of my most favorite campsites. The sites are very private and most of them are right on the pond. Even though most of the washrooms are older, they are very well-maintained and clean. I would this campground in a heartbeat! As well as canoeing on the pond, there is great hiking everywhere around you. Saranac Lake and even lake Placid are not that far away too.

We stay on site 125. This site was perfect for our tent and screened in enclosure. I might not be teh best for a large RV or pull behind camper however. Rollins Pond is a great small lake for kayaking and fishing with access to paddle over into a couple of other lakes as well.

First time camping here, most campers have canoes/kayaks since 90% of sites are on the water. We rented on for $20/day, what a beautiful lake. Downsides: Rollins Pond is inside Fish Creek campground, so you drive thru Fish Creek to get to Rollins. This can take upwards of 15 minutes one way. Only showers are at the beginning of the campgrounds, but never had a problem with them being busy. There is a bathroom hut about every 5 sites, so those are easily accessible, same with water. No electricity hook ups available at all. The sites are a good size for a tent, screen house, and car/trailer. Look for bigger sites in higher numbers for more room for trailers/pop ups, etc. Overall a great campground, and easy access to Lake Placid (40 min.) and Saranac Lake (20 minutes.
