My wife and I have stayed here several times. Before we owned our travel trailer, we would tent camp here. The bathrooms are nice and clean with good showers. The sites are well kept, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. You can camp right next to the river. If you are looking for a good place to stay close to Sedona this should be your first choice.

This campground is far outside of Sedona, there is no cell phone reception. These might be drawbacks for some people needing for work from their camper but for us it was a blessing. The trees are huge and cast great shade on a lot of the sites. The river is easy to access and was great fun for the kids to play in. The bathrooms were cleaned in the dead of night which was nice. It is a family place with lots of kids everywhere.

I don't think the $50 rate we paid for staying at this resort is worth it. The site we got was not so bad, as it was level, had full hookups and we did get some space around our rig. But it seems that the longer-term guests get the best sites. There's no cable TV and the place doesn't even get an antenna signal. Wi-fi is available only at the clubhouse, and the clubhouse is a long walk from our site. The pool is unheated and children are allowed in the hot tub when the rules say they're not supposed to be there.

We found Lo Lo Mai to be a relaxing place. It's very quiet here and the place is pretty, like a park. The grounds are clean and the greenery are well taken care of. The sites are large but a bit close together, and many have full hookups. The bathrooms, restrooms and other facilities are spotless and well-maintained. However, you can see that this park is older and may need some upgrading. They also don't have cable TV or internet access, and it's impossible to get a cellphone signal here too.
