Do not stay here! If I could give 0 stars, I would.

If you can dry camp, save yourself $$ and exposure to this nightmare of an RV park by driving up to German Gulch onto the BLM land. The road is well packed, maintained gravel with a few large flat areas that can accoodate motorhomes, vans or trailers.

Fairmont springs RV Resort is expensive ($65 a night) there are no tables, no shade, the spots are cramped together.

One set of restrooms with chest high showerheads, mediocre water pressure, and some fairly rinky-dink DIY repairs.

The staff is rude and has no sense of customer service. The owner, Dan, is completely irrational. We heard him threaten no fewer than four families with being kicked out for various minor incidents.

You can pay extra when you reserve your space, like we did, to lock your space. Then they move you anyway and if you complain, they will tell you that you can "leave right now."

Based on what we observed in our 2 nights, other offenses which result in the tyrannical owner chasing you down in his golf cart to kick you out include:
-arriving after they close at 8 PM. No reprieve, no empathy, no flexibility to pull in and settle up on the morning.
- letting your 6 year old play in the otherwise empty 2-5 year old playhouse.
- backing onto the grass to load/unload items.
- exceeding 5 mph, as assessed by the owner's opinion, not your speedometer
- asking them to honor your original booking

We stayed here in a Class B Motorhome.
